1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ummless ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Ummless is a voice-to-text application that transcribes your speech locally and refines it using AI. The Service includes the desktop application, web dashboard, and associated APIs.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service to process content that violates any law or third-party rights

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your content (transcriptions, refined text). We retain ownership of the Service, including its software, design, and branding. The AI-refined output is derived from your content and belongs to you.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ummless shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
